Westfield Senior Center Father’s Day ‘Doo-Wop’ Curbside Luncheon

Fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and father-figures were honored with a ‘Doo-Wop’ curbside luncheon.  With the music of ‘American Graffiti’ blasting in the background, participants were treated to a casual menu, with the best saved for last
 a Dad-size classic ice cream sundae fordessert!  Entertainment for the event was provided by local musicians Marion Dunk and Chip Arnold, ‘The Keepers,’ via Westfield cable Channel 15, WPCP.

Volunteer Recognition Brunch

Westfield Senior Center Honors Volunteers

The Westfield Senior Center’s annual Volunteer Recognition Brunch was held curbside this year.  Volunteers with more than 30 hours of service during the past year were honored with a delicious take-home meal, signs of appreciation displayed throughout the parking lot, and heartfelt thanks from the Council On Aging staff.  Entertainment for the event was provided by local musician Ed Bentley, who volunteered his talents, via Westfield cable Channel 15, WPCP.

Westfield Senior Center Mother’s Day ‘Parade of Hats’ Curbside Luncheon

Mothers, Grandmothers, Godmothers, and mother figures were honored with a ‘Parade of Hats’ curbside luncheon.  Using whatever they could dig out of closets, the arts and crafts drawer, and the garden, both Moms and those honoring them dressed appropriately for the occasion.  Even cars and dogs came decorated!  Entertainment for the event was provided by local musician Noah Lis via Westfield cable Channel 15, WPCP.
